As indicated above, Champlain maintains a database of known and qualified lenders and investors. The majority of these investors have capital under management ranging from a low of some $200 million to amounts substantially exceeding $1 billion.
In order to be efficient in the presentation of the client’s Corporate Profile to these investors, Champlain is aware of their stated investment interests (including stage of growth, dollar range of financing, geographic preferences, preferred industries, the nature of the company’s products, technology and/or services, and other essential variables).
Dependant on the effective matching of the company’s characteristics and the stated investment interests of the professional investors, the latter could very well be located in the key Capital Markets of Canada, the American Northeast, the West Coast and/or one of the major Western European Financial Centers.
